one of the weakest guys at the table makes it 400, another guy calls, and i repopped with Q10 to get heads-up with the weak player.  he called and the other guy folded.  the flop came K103 and he leads out for 2k.  i called then he checked when another 10 fell on the turn.  i bet 3.5k and he called.  river was nothing and i shipped all in and he called with AK for 9k.  so right now i have almost doubled up and have 34k.

Today is my day of the main event. I feel very well prepared and am looking forward to a long day of folding.

One very important rule for tourneys like this is not to have any predetermined chipcount goals.

My only goal today is to survive by playing solid poker! I will try to keep you updated througout the day....GL me

Shortly after getting his Kings cracked by Matt Gianetti, Shawn Buchanan got it all in with JJ versus 1010 and was sent to the rail when a 10 fell.  Gianetti currently has the chip lead with about 350k.

Scott Fischman has climbed back up to the top 10 with 185k.  He'll update us on his progress during the dinner break.

Gavin Griffin is in 9th place with 180k while Farzad Bonyadi is just behind him with 175k.  Chris "Jesus" Ferguson (140k), Allen Cunningham (125k), Joe Sebok (135k), and Michael Binger (122k) are also vying for a spot at the final table.

On a flop of J5h2h, John Juanda bet 8k, Scott Fischman called, and another opponent made it 25k. Juanda folded, Fischman moved all in, and the opponent called. The players showed:

Scott Fischman Jh10h

Random Guy #76 QQ

The turn and river were no help to Fischman, who was eliminated from the tournament.
