Since I busted out of the tournament a little earlier than I did at the Mirage, I decided to give up poker and join the Pokerwire.com team. Not really. But I did see Patrik Antonius play a pot against Roland DeWolfe:
Roland DeWolfe raised to 400 from the button and Patrik Antonius called in the big blind. Patrik checked and Roland bet 700 on the J43 flop. Patrik called then both players checked the 7 turn. Patrik again checked to Roland on the Q river, and he bet 2.1k. Patrik called and Roland had KQ for a rivered top pair.
JC Tran raised to 600 from middle position, David Benyamine reraised to 2k from the button, and an opponent in the small blind moved all in for 14k. Tran called all in for 2.2k, Benyamine called, and the players showed:
JC Tran KK
David Benyamine KK
Opponent QQ
The board came 86453 for Benyamine to send the opponent home and chop the main pot with Tran.
Jean-Robert Bellande limps in from under the gun, two additional players called and Eli Elezra raised to 1.2k from the big blind. Bellande made the call and everyone else mucked. The flop came J109 and Elezra bet 2.2k. Bellande mucked his 55 face up.
The Pokerwire team thanks Amnon for his riveting information today.
